Looking for ways to make peer review more engaging, structured and manageable for both you and your students? Join the Learning Technology and Teaching Effectiveness teams for an introduction to Feedback Fruits, an integrated iCollege tool designed to support peer feedback, collaboration, self-assessment and active learning. In this hands-on session, Dr. Shelby Frost (Economics) will share how she uses Feedback Fruits Peer Review in her ECON 1101 Economics of Financial Literacy course to support a semester-long Personal Finance Portfolio project. Teaching approximately 200 students each semester, Dr. Frost leverages Feedback Fruits to make peer review manageable at scale while creating opportunities for students to reflect on their own work, learn from their classmates and use peer feedback to strengthen their final submissions. In the second half of the workshop, Mustafa Elsawy, a Learning Technology consultant, will demonstrate how Feedback Fruits works within the iCollege environment, including how to create and manage peer review activities, configure assignments and track student participation. You'll learn the basics of setting up Feedback Fruits and explore features that can help streamline feedback and collaborative learning processes. Together, we'll explore practical strategies for using Feedback Fruits to promote engagement, reflection and deeper learning across a variety of disciplines and class sizes.
