Campus Sustainability Week Cleanup
bis
The Pit, North Carolina
Celebrate the last week of Campus Sustainability Month with a campus cleanup! You have two opportunities to participate on Monday, October 26! The first cleanup shift leaves the Pit at 12:15 pm and returns at 12:45. The second leaves at 1:15 and returns at 1:45 pm. Did we mention this cleanup is in friendly competition with the University of Miami? Ahead of our Carolina Sustainability Football Game, Miami's sustainability office is hosting their own cleanup the same week. At the end of the week, we'll share photos from both cleanups. This event is in collaboration with Student Government Department of Environmental Affairs and EcoAthletes. We will provide trash bags, gloves and trash pickers. We suggest wearing closed-toe shoes. You are invited to walk or jog (Happy Plogtober!) the route.
