The Center on Crime, Race, and Justice (CRJ) at Northeastern University invites you to join us for the David B. Schulman Distinguished Lecture Series, featuring Dr. Felicia Arriaga of the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch College. In her presentation, Navigating I.C.E. 2.0, Dr. Arriaga will examine the history and evolving role of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including the expansion of its operations, increased federal funding, and growing partnerships with local agencies. She will explore the implications of these developments for immigration enforcement and accountability, as well as how local communities and governments are responding to the changing landscape. The David B. Schulman Distinguished Lecture Series brings together prominent scholars, community practitioners, and students to engage in meaningful conversations about issues of race and justice. This lecture series is co-sponsored by the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, the Schulman Fund, and the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University. We welcome faculty, students, community partners, and members of the public to join us for this timely and informative discussion.
