MS3 Workshop: Peaks Beyond the Proteome
bis
Weill Hall, 221, Tompkins
You may have heard of proteomics and how it can help advance your research, but what about other omics approaches? Join the Mass Spectrometry Student Society (MS3) and Dr. Andy Lui from the Proteomics and Metabolomics Core for an introduction to metabolomics and lipidomics! These approaches focus on analyzing the small-molecule metabolites and lipids found in biological systems. We’ll cover the basic concepts behind each approach, their applications in research, and key considerations for sample preparation. When: Thursday, October 29, 12:00–1:30 PM Where: Weill Hall, Room 221 Lunch will be provided!
