1 The Australiana Pioneer Village, 10 Rose St, Wilberforce, ☏ +61 438 751 775. 10AM-4PM (Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays only). Collection of historical buildings from the era. Run by volunteers on Sundays. Featuring rides on historical equipment, historical tours of the buildings and animals. $5 adults, $3 children. (updated Oct 2018)
Windsor Town. The Hawkesbury Museum Heritage Highlights pamphlet can be used as a walking tour guide. A tour takes about 90 minutes and includes 19th-century buildings such as the Macquarie Arms Hotel, Windsor Court House and St Matthews Church. St Matthews Church is regarded as the convict architect Francis Greenway's masterpiece but its situation in a graveyard detracts a little from its looks. (updated Jan 2025)
2 Peninsula House, Tebbutt's Observatory, Palmer Street, Windsor (This is one of the sites listed in the Hawkesbury Museum's Heritage Highlights. It's a little further from the town centre than the other buildings - about 15 minutes walk). (updated Nov 2016)
