Irewole is a Local Government Area in Osun State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Ikire in the south of the area at7°21′40″N 4°11′00″E. The current chairman of the council is Okunola Jumoke Esther.
It has an area of 271 km2 (105 mi2; 67,000 acres) and a population of 143,599 at the 2006 census.
