Aguas Buenas: See
1 Aguas Buenas Pueblo (downtown Aguas Buenas). See the historic Roman Catholic church, Spanish-style recreational plaza, and the municipal buildings surrounded by streets and shops. You can drive around the pueblo or park your car and walk around the square and into the plaza. The Spanish law, which regulated life in Puerto Rico in the early 19th century, stated the plaza's purpose was for celebrations and festivities. (updated Apr 2022)
Aguas Buenas Cave and Caverns System Natural Reserve (Cuevas de Aguas Buenas), Camino Hormigas (off PR-794 near Los Sumideros). Cave system and source to many important rivers in the region such as the Bairoa. Although the area is protected there is no visitor infrastructure such as hiking trails. Visitors are advised to contact local guides if they want to visit the caves. (updated Oct 2021)
