Saint Andrew, Barbados – Green rolling hills of the northeast

Saint Andrew, one of the eleven parishes of Barbados, lies in the island's northeast and is often considered one of its most scenic corners. Its green, rolling hills set it apart from the flatter coastal areas and have shaped rural life here for generations, with small villages, farmland and views over the Atlantic. The parish is home to Mount Hillaby, the highest point in Barbados. Today Saint Andrew remains a quieter, more rural part of the island, valued by locals and visitors alike for its landscapes. Much of the parish's history is carried in family memories, village traditions and old photographs. Do you have stories or memories from Saint Andrew?
