Paget Parish – One of Bermuda's nine original parishes

Paget Parish belongs to the nine parishes into which Bermuda was divided in its early colonial years. Like its neighbours, it bears the name of an investor in the colony: William Paget, 4th Baron Paget de Beaudesert (1572–1629). Lying on the central south of the island chain, just across the water from Hamilton Harbour, it has grown from those early land divisions into a lively community.

Today Paget is home to Bermuda College, the Bermuda Botanical Gardens and the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, making it a place of learning, nature and culture. With just over 2.3 square miles, it is small but full of character. Do you have a story, a family memory or an old photo from Paget? Share it with us!
