St. Peter's, Montserrat – Village of the island's green north
St. Peter's is a village in the north of Montserrat, in Saint Peter Parish, and is home to St Peter's Anglican Church, a long-standing place of worship for the local community. Montserrat is often called the "Emerald Isle of the Caribbean" because of its lush landscapes and the Irish heritage of many early settlers, still celebrated today in the island's St Patrick's festivities.
