Tunapuna–Piarco – Trinidad and Tobago's most populous region
Tunapuna–Piarco is the most populous of the nine regions of Trinidad and Tobago and the fifth largest by land area, stretching from the Caribbean coast in the north across the Northern Range into the central plains. Its name carries the country's main gateway: Piarco, site of the international airport that links the islands with the wider world. The region borders San Juan–Laventille to the west, Couva–Tabaquite–Talparo to the south, Chaguanas to the south-west and Sangre Grande to the east, and it completely surrounds the Royal Chartered Borough of Arima. Today it is one of the most geographically diverse parts of the country. Members are warmly invited to share their own memories, photographs and family stories here.
