Blowing Point – Anguilla's ferry gateway on the southern coast
Blowing Point is a village on Anguilla's southern coast and one of the island's fourteen districts. It is home to Anguilla's ferry terminal, which makes it the island's doorway: for residents and visitors alike, arrivals and departures begin here, and the coming and going of boats has long set the district's rhythm. Beyond the terminal, Blowing Point is an ordinary Anguillian community of homes, churches and small businesses on a low coral island where the sea is part of daily life. Today it remains the island's main sea link. What do you remember of the crossings, the boats and the people who worked here? Share your stories with us.
