Saint Mark – Grenada's smallest parish on the western coast

Saint Mark lies on the west coast of Grenada and is the island's smallest parish, both in area and in population. That modest size has shaped its character: a compact stretch of coast and hillside where almost everyone knows their neighbours, and where village life, the sea and the land remain closely linked. Facing the calm western waters, the parish has long combined fishing with small-scale farming on the slopes behind the shore, while church gatherings, markets and family celebrations mark the rhythm of the year. Today Saint Mark remains a quiet corner of Grenada with a strong sense of community. Share your memories, old photographs and family stories with fellow members here.
