Antipolo Cathedral is popular with travelers who are about to embark on far away trips and other well-wishers and devotees. While Antipolo Cathedral is a modernist reconstruction, fans of Spanish-era colonial churches usually flock to Pililla, Tanay, Baras, Morong and Binangonan.
Rizal is also a popular hiking destination for daytrippers and campers from Metro Manila, particularly the highlands of Rodriguez, Antipolo, Baras, Tanay, Pililla, Jalajala and Talim Island.
