Caltrain JPBX 922 “Tamien” pushes a consist of Gallery Cars out of Tamien station, beginning northbound Train 145. This was the final scheduled diesel train between San José and San Francisco and the final passenger service for Caltrain’s Gallery Cars. About two hours earlier, a couple dozen railfans arrived here on Train 132, which had been announced on social media as the final diesel train to depart from San Francisco. [1] A few of them stuck around for the opportunity to ride it back home.
