From Lexemes to Bridges – Exploring Wikidata Potentials – Lightning Talks – Wikimedia ESEAP Conference 2026 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Wikidata has been an untapped project for the Wiki Advocates Philippines in the past years. At present, we are working on developing projects that would utilize Wikidata, while also considering the capacities of the volunteers in data entry instead of our usual translation and editing of articles in Wikipedia, or adding new words and definitions on our local Wiktionary. This discussion involves two of our current projects in Wikidata, Central Bikol Lexemes and Wikibridges, both aims to document tangible and intangible heritages in our locality.
